Emily Light is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults across Florida via secure telehealth. Based in Melbourne, she practices exclusively via telehealth and offers medication management, individual therapy, and psychiatric evaluation as a single, integrated plan of care.
Emily holds a Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University with undergraduate training at the University of Central Florida. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan on anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions.
Her approach centers on seeing each person as a whole — not just a diagnosis. Treatment plans are collaborative and adjusted over time based on how you respond, integrating medication management, psychotherapy, and practical strategies for the parts of daily life care has to fit into.
