Accessibility
An accessible website is part of the care.
New Leaf Mental Health LLC is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement describes what we work toward, and how to reach us if you experience a barrier.

Our conformance target
We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA. WCAG is the widely-adopted international standard for web accessibility.
This is a target we work toward. We do not claim the site is fully conforming or free of accessibility barriers.
What we’ve done
- · Semantic HTML for structure (headings, lists, landmarks).
- · A skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users.
- · Keyboard navigation throughout, including Esc to close the mobile menu and the navigation menus, with focus returned to the control that opened them and kept inside the mobile menu while it is open.
- · A visible focus indicator on interactive elements.
- · Color contrast meeting WCAG AA (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- · Descriptive alternative text for content images; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- · Accessible names on icon-only buttons and links (menus, close controls, logo links).
- · Programmatic labels on disclosure widgets (mobile menu, FAQ accordion) via
aria-expanded,aria-controls, and dialog semantics. - · No auto-playing media or motion required to use the site.
- · Respect for user motion preferences (
prefers-reduced-motionhonored throughout).
Known limitations
Booking and clinical communication happen on Headway, which is a third-party platform. Its accessibility is Headway’s to describe; please consult Headway’s own materials.
