How care works
From first click to first visit, and every visit after.
Booking is handled through Headway; care is provided directly by Emily. Below: the practical steps to start, and the ongoing rhythm of care after you do.
Before your first visit
Three practical steps.
- 01
Check your coverage on Headway
Headway shows your estimated cost before your appointment, based on your plan's benefits at the time of verification. Your final responsibility depends on your plan's deductible, copay, and coinsurance.
- 02
Schedule your first appointment
Browse Emily's current openings and book directly on Headway. Rescheduling and cancellations are also handled on the platform.
- 03
Meet Emily via secure video
Your visit is a private video appointment. You need a quiet space, a device with a camera, and to be physically located in Florida during the appointment.
After your first visit
A rhythm you can plan around.
Psychiatric care isn't a single visit. Care follows a real rhythm you can plan around, not a script written once.
- Rhythm 01
60 min
Initial evaluation
Emily takes time to understand your history, current symptoms, and goals. The evaluation guides a plan you build together.
- Rhythm 02
30 min
Follow-up visits
Regular check-ins on how the plan is landing. Cadence depends on where you are in care: typically weekly to monthly early on, longer as things stabilize.
- Rhythm 03
ongoing
Refine and sustain
Medications, therapy focus, and rhythms are adjusted as your response and context change. Care follows you rather than resetting each visit.
Cadence and durations are typical; your plan is personalized. Individual results vary.
